The deck then features a number of powerful midgame snakes, many of which generate value through effects such as Vizier (cast creatures off the top), Mystic Snake (counterspell), and Fangkeeper's Familiar (counter/enchant removal/surveil).

Finally, the deck features potent endgame threats to come over the top including Seshiro (snake anthem, card draw), Rottenmouth Viper (life drain/permanent destruction), as well as Honored Hydra and Stonecoil Serpent which can enter as massive creatures.
